Dr. Tho Chin Keong

Academic Qualifications: Specialisation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Dr Tho Chin Keong completed his basic medical degree at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1984 and subsequently received his basic specialty training from 1990 to 1997 at the Singapore General Hospital. He was then admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in London. Dr Tho completed further Advanced Specialty training from 1990 to 1993 in KK Women’s Hospital, Department of Maternal-Foetal Medicine, where he was also active in the education of specialists-in-training and medical students.

Clinical Experience: Pregnancy Care, Family Planning, Common Gynae Issues

Dr Tho has a well-rounded interest in the various aspects of O&G including pregnancy care, helping couples with family planning (from contraception and management of unintended pregnancies, to trying for a baby), common gynaecological issues such as menstrual-related problems, episodic vaginal infections / itch. Over the years, he has partnered with numerous couples to deliver their babies with much joy and fulfilment.

Dr Tho is a jovial and patient doctor, to the delight of his patients. He believes in giving back to society, and was a member and Chair of the Yuhua Healthcare Committee from 1994 to 2000. With the support from a group of volunteer doctors, Dr Tho Chin Keong also advocates the well-being of the public through complementary health screening and talks for residents in the Yuhua area.
He chose to locate his specialist clinic in the Jurong East area with the objective of bringing specialist care to his patients, so that women can enjoy O&G care near their homes without the inconvenience of travelling, especially during pregnancy.
