Academic Qualifications: Specialisation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Dr Watt Wing Fong obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery at the National University of Singapore (NUS)  in 1994, and subsequently received her postgraduate qualification in 1998 from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK). In 1999, Dr Watt won the Young Investigator Award at the KK Hospital Annual Scientific Meeting. She then completed her advanced specialty training in KK Hospital, Singapore, and was accredited as a specialist in 2002 by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Singapore Medical Council (SMC).

Clinical Experience: Pregnancy Care including Medical Disorders in Pregnancy

Dr Watt has a strong passion for the care of pregnant patients, and is experienced in the management of medical disorders in pregnancy and peripartum care. She was formerly a clinical tutor at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and a trainer for MRCOG courses. Her love for obstetrics stretches into her previous involvement in the development of guidelines and protocols for labour wards, as well as the training of labour ward nurses. She also shares her knowledge about pregnancy care to the general public through talks, forums and media engagements.

Dr Watt’s excellent patient care clinched her the Service Star Award from Raffles Hospital and the Service from the Heart Award from KK Hospital, where she previously practised at.

Currently, Dr Watt is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore, and a member of the Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Singapore, the Singapore Medical Association, and the Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore.
