Get to know Astra Women’s Specialists Clinics in the Heartland

Hi ladies!

Welcome back to our monthly series about Astra Women’s Specialist Clinics in the heartland areas. For the month of May, we are going to our clinic at Bishan. It is just a short 5-minute walk from Bishan MRT station.

Our Bishan clinic is run by 2 experienced obstetricians and gynaecologists, Dr Henry Cheng and Dr James Lee. There is also a procedure room in the clinic where minor procedures can be done such as IUIs, insertion of IUDs and termination of pregnancy.

For ladies who are wondering if Medisave or insurance can be used for the minor procedures done in the clinic, the answer is yes. For Medisave, you are able to claim about $900-$1200 for minor procedures, as long as the eligibility criteria are met.

Last but not least, for busy working ladies, the clinic opens till 8pm on Mondays, so you can swing by after work if you need to see a gynaecologist without disrupting your work schedule.
